Hi, I'm thrilled to welcome you to my blog! Truth is, my life changed the first day I arrived to Spain. It has been an incredible learning experience for me and I have grown in ways I never imagined. As an American living in Spain, I have also had several challenges maneuvering through Spanish bureaucracy and lifestyle but luckily I have made this place my new home away from home. Spain is where I fell in love with travel, met my husband, and became a mom.
My journey has not stopped there. In fact, it continues to flourish with new twist and turns as I venture through Spain as an American. Which is why I created this blog. It is created in an effort to share with you the beauty and wonder of Spain that I have discovered, including insights into the culture, food, and the special nuances that make this country so unique.

Ethnic Background
As a Mexican American born and raised in Orange County California, I bring a unique perspective to my writing. Growing up bilingual and constantly switching between Spanish and English thinking has allowed me to bridge two worlds and appreciate the variations of each. I hope to share my challenges and victories while I maneuver through two distinct cultures while living in Spain.
My Goals
As a recent mother, content writing has become my pastime; although truly I work as an English teacher here in Spain. My current goal is to inspire individuals to learn more about Spain and to just be present in life. In fact, the ideal job I would wish to have is to be a role model for those who seek a friend, a mentor, or simply just someone to connect with. As I continue to blog I feel as though I will also grow professionally and unveiling new skills or hobbies. In turn those who keep up with my blog could really engage and be enlightened by the living abroad life I have pursued.
Passions
I am passionate about connecting with people. It sounds really unoriginal but I love to be around those who energize me and want to explore what life could offer. There is so much to see and encounter out there in the world, and I believe that travel is one of the most powerful tools we have to broaden our horizons, open our minds, and discover new things about ourselves and the world around us. My mission is to push people of all backgrounds to get out of their comfort zone and embrace the big or small adventures that are waiting for them out there.
