How It Got Started

Why write about people?

People tell stories to make sense of the world, and to share that understanding with others. What links humans together is the ability to interact with one another, and create narratives that spark compassion and ingenuity. On behalf of that search, my love for writing and photography has allowed me to create this blog in an effort to spread joy through storytelling. The older I have gotten the more I have come to realize that love is not stationary. We simply have to build up the courage to open our hearts, accept new possibilities, and walk slower through a crowd in order to experience it ourselves. My hope is to use this blog as a medium to advocate people’s stories and bring a community of individuals closer. I have personally learned that it is not enough to say that you love people, rather to extend that love for others through interactions and experience. With that being said, by sharing people’s personal accomplishments I hope to learn to create my own story of faith and love; because fully living is synonymous with fully loving.
